Become a volunteer

If you're enthusiastic about supporting children who are facing disadvantage through homelessness we'd love to hear from you.

We have the following volunteer opportunities:

Playwork volunteers: supporting our staff to provide a range of play, art and sports activities to children aged 12 and under at our hostel-based play clubs and on enrichment day trips

Translation volunteers: working with our staff to translate key information documents for families with limited spoken English and to assist with form-filling during family casework sessions

Digital volunteers: we’d love to hear from anyone with skills in managing social media or photography to help us with our comms and branding

Please note that playwork volunteers will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and Safeguarding training, which will be arranged and paid for by CARIS Families.
